Scratching Haiku

We recently learned that Haiku does not always have to be the traditional 3-line poem which follows the 5-7-5 syllable structure.  Non-traditional Haiku is about capturing the essence of an experience, feeling, or moment. Sometimes it's a fragment with a sentence. Sometimes the final line offers a twist.
